Warehouse Operative

We are now seeking an Experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in Mallusk Part time 27.5hrs 7.00am to 1.00pm

Part time Salary £ 171732

Key Roles / Responsibilities

Loading and unloading trailers an element of manual handling will be required
Operation of forklift truck (licence required)
Checking of Manifests including checking for damages or missing items
Scanning and checking consignments
Sortation of consignments
Good Housekeeping to include keeping warehouse clear of waste and rubbish
Strict adherence to Health & Safety rules
Assisting drivers for vehicle prep, loading and unloading of vehicles
Taking goods to the appropriate locations perhaps using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods, like washing machines.
Keep paperwork up to date
Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
Deal with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure
Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight errors and damages prior to completion
Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report an area of concern to Team Leader immediately
Put improvement suggestions forward where appropriate
Assist other team members as necessary
Support Warehouse Team Leader with all day-to-day tasks
To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business
Any other reasonable request by management
